The animal sanctuary is a privately owned concern, run by Sue and Andrew Graham, on a smallholding of 12 acres in Millstreet, Co.Cork, Ireland.
Its main aim is to provide welfare and a home for life, for farm animals and birds, this facility being rare.
Until recently we have financed the operation from our own resources, but as knowledge of us is spreading, and more animals are being brought to us, it has become necessary to obtain additional funds. Last year we were lucky enough to be given a grant from the Department of Agriculture and Food and the Animal Care Society, and donations are always welcome.
The animals currently in our care consist of :
A horse, donkeys, a pony, sheep, goats, pigs, dogs, cats, geese, peacock, ducks, chickens and various other birds.
